BIOGRAPHY

  Born in Krakow, Poland, today he lives and works on the island Kimito at the archipelago in south Finland. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Industrial Design and Architecture during the years 1968-1975; he was lecturer in the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. In 1974 he started working as an architect in Finland, until 1977 when he set up a free-lance graphic arts office.

  Since 1986, he contributes regularly illustrations to the biggest Finnish newspaper Helsigin Sanomat. He has also worked as an illustrator to almost all Finnish publishers and newspapers. He has participated to drawings, paintings and graphic design exhibitions in Finland, and abroad: Sweden, Norway, Holland, Italy Switzerland, Poland, Japan, USA. He has been awarded many prizes: 15th Best Cartoonists at the EU competition, Forte dei Marmi, Italy (2002); Special prize, Biennale of Humor, Tolentino Italy (2005); Grand Prix Satyrykon Legnica 2007 Poland (2007); Prize on satirical competition in Italy Gallarate (2007); Publication: Adam Korpak Remanent, Atena 2004.

  His international memberships are: ICOGRADA, Finnish Graphic Associations, Kuvittaja ry,Grafiary. Polish Association of Artist ZPAP.
